MATHEMATICS
Throughout the year, my students learn math skills from each of the five strands in the Ontario Mathematics Curriculum.
1) Number Sense and Numeration
2) Measurement
3) Data Management and Probability
4) Patterning and Alegbra
5) Geometry
We often will builld from one skill to the next, so it is very important that students work hard to grasp concepts and take home their math regularly for extra practice and review. Please refer to the link to my long range plans which can be found on the homepage, to gain a better understanding of when certain strands will be covered throughout the year.
